This sub module creates a difference JT file from two input JT files. The difference is based on a structural and geometric comparison of the underlying files.
First, the JT files to be compared are selected and imported. For the visualization of the difference geometries two user-defined colors (for A-B result and B-A result) can be set. For the accuracy of the geometry check, it is also possible to set a tolerance value. There is also a possibility to keep the input geometries. This implies that the input JT files will get added to the difference file.
The comparison function can be applied either to the entire files or to individual structure nodes from both files selected by the user in the object tree. The selection is made by clicking the corresponding button . If this is red the object is considered selected.
iThe comparison should be limited as much as possible. The higher the geometric complexity of the elements to be compared, the longer the computation time. |
Once all desired difference settings have been configured, the comparison can be started using the start file difference calculation button. The storage location and the file name are customizable.
