Complex tasks are tasks which enable to group several complex work processes under a single task. This clearly defines the frequently used process sequence to be executed easily. The advantage is simulations are possible with less individual tasks and thus simulations are both clearer and less complex.
The Screwing and Clipping tasks described below are similar and use almost the same set of parameters. The following two substeps are included in the complex tasks. First, the task object(s)/component(s) are picked and placed as well as tool and fasteners (Screws and Clips). Second, fasteners are selectively placed on the corresponding targets or attached to the tool. Then the tool is used. Many parameters used in this task are optional. For example, if no tool is defined then screwing and clipping is done by hand.
It is advisable to insert the reference fasteners hierarchically below the reference components in the scene graph (objects -> show as tree) in order to use Screwing and Clipping tasks.
