By means of this task, the human model waits for the end of the task of another human model. The required waiting time is either determined automatically or selected by means of the preset target time.

Parameter |
Type |
Mand. |
Meaning |
Wait until end of cycle |
Checkbox |
yes |
A selection parameter which defines whether the task should wait until the end of the current cycle has reached. In case of conflicts, i.e. both parameters Predefine target time [s] and Wait until end of cycle are defined, the parameter Predefine target time [s] is given priority over the other. |
Task end to wait for |
Selection |
no |
A selection parameter with a list of already defined tasks. This parameter should not be referenced to a task within a task group in which the parameter Predefined target time [s] is defined (meaning it is set to a value not equal to zero). Please see the instructions in the chapter Task groups. |
Keep body posture |
Checkbox |
no |
A selection parameter which defines if the body posture of the human model stays unchanged within the waiting time or if a "straighten up" is desired. In case the waiting time (Prespecified-target time [s] or remaining time untill task end on which to synchronize) is long enough, the "staighten up" takes place with internal calculated task durations depending on the initial body posture. The rest of the time gets flled up with "wait". If the prespecified waiting time is shorter than the actual "straighten up", the "straighten up" will last excactly as long as the prespecified waiting time was defined. |
Process-bound |
Checkbox |
no |
A selection parameter that determines whether waiting is tied to the process. Has an impact on the evaluation of waiting times (productivity). |
iPossible logical errors (infinite loops, waiting for a task of the same human model, etc.) are not detected before the simulation calculation and are thus errors. iThe parameter Task end to wait for" should not reference functions within task groups for which a "predefined target time [s]" (different from zero) is defined. Please note the information in function groups 5.9.1 (ema) and 5.10.9 (ema and emaV5). |
