The playback control regulates the simulation playback (see figure Playback control).
Figure 163: Playback control
The initial position is restored by pressing the button Reset.
The Play / Pause button or shortcut key "space" enables the playback / pause of the simulation or motion data.
By pressing the button jump to end the simulation will jump to its final frame.
The Play (repeat) button allows continuous playback of the simulation / motion data. It is activated or deactivated by pressing twice the Play button.
Is the button camera animation (in)active orange (= active), the camera track defined in the camera's behavior will be shown while playing the simulation. With a deactivated button (default color) the user can navigate the view via mouse control.
The Slow down playback button adjusts the playback speed according to Playback: x 0.5, Playback: x 0.25 and Playback: x 0.125.
The button Realtime playback plays the simulation proportional to Playback: x 1.
The Speed up playback button adjusts the playback speed according to Playback: x 2, Playback: x 4, Playback: x 8, Playback: x 16, Playback: x 32 and Playback: x 64.
In the lower area of the 3D view, there is a point-of-time field on the left and a slide bar on the right. They are mutually coupled; implies that one can be changed by changing the other.
In the Point-of-time field [s], the current time of the duration of the simulation during playback is displayed. The desired point in time can be manually adjusted as well.
The Slide bar indicates the current position during playback of the simulation. It can be set manually to the desired position.
iIt is not possible to navigate in the 3D view via mouse control if the button camera animation active is active. |
