In the field Language, the language of ema user interface and of the log outputs can be set.
Parameter Currency name / sign is used to define the standard currency which will get associated with the user defined parameter cost (see chapter Parameter types / User defined parameters / User defined object parameters) as well as in the evaluation of Objects report (see chapter User interface / Tab "Results" / Objects report).
The color of the buttons and the labels could be changed using Theme/skin. The default setting is imk.
The MRU tasks count indicates the number of entries in the list of frequently used tasks. By activating the option MRU tasks auto update, the list of most recently used tasks will be updated in real-time.
The line space for objects tree [px] can be adjusted (default value is 3 px).
If checkbox Show no ema Hub during loading of projects activated, the ema Hub (see chapter User interface / Menu bar / ema Hub) remains closed when restarting.
Under Default human model nationality a default setting for the displayed nationality in the human model configurator can be specified (see chapter User interface / Tab "Objects" / Buttons / Insertion of objects / Add human model).
By activating the checkbox Always add newly selected objects to existing selection, newly selected objects are added to the previously selected objects instead of replaced.
The checkbox ask before deleting any object enables an inquery before deletion, making accidental deletion less likely.
The parameter Activate "automatic walking" or "lock leg movement" on new tasks by default automatically enables / disables the corresponding parameter for new tasks (see chapter User interface / Tab "Tasks" / Configuration of the tasks).
If the parameter Use process location as root for helper objects is activated and in task group one process location is defined as well as no Alternative root according to chapter User interface / Tab "Objects" / Buttons is set, then this will be used as the new parent of the such objects which are created out of tasks. For e.g. marker and walk path for walk targets and/or hand movements. Thus, the objects can be created like automatically in an associated structure. While repositioning the process location, the resulting movement targets are not changed with respect to your position and this can lead to errors (see chapter User interface / Tab "Tasks" / Line balancing).
A copy suffix can be defined for the copies of objects (Copy suffix (objects)) and tasks (Copy suffix (tasks)). This suffix extends the names of the copies. If no suffix has been defined, then the copied objects and tasks maintain their original names. Suffix definitions are not applicable to body parts of the digital human model.
Using the parameter User defined name for task groups, the default name of the Task group can be changed.
The checkbox Show helper objects on UI (cameras, lights, ...) shows the camera and light objects in the object tree if activated.
With the parameter Comment field count for objects [#] up to 5 comment fields could be predefined for the objects (see chapter User interface / Tab "Objects" / Tree view).
Using the decision parameters, Parameter category "base parameters" / "mandatory parameter" / "optional parameters" / "body posture parameters" / process description" always expanded and other parameter categories always expanded, whether the respective categories of the task parameters should be expanded or collapsed could be defined. By default, only the mandatory parameters are expanded.
If the checkbox Skip all warning & error dialogues is activated, no dialogs with the corresponding messages appear after simulation.
