The layout settings are used to set the increment during interactive shifting and rotation of objects in layout mode (see figure Layout settings).

With the settings icon_LimitTransAllSet translation limitations and icon_LimitRotAllSet rotation limitations the translation and rotation of an object can be limited to specific axes and planes by the help of the object manipulator (see chapter User interface / 3D view / Object manipulation) in the layout mode. For example, it is so possible to rule out that an object can be moved falsely on a plane instead of on an axle. It is also possible to rule out object rotations when only an object translation is required.

Set translation limitations [mm] (shift increment): (default: 100 mm), maximum 10000 mm

Set rotation limitations [°] (rotation increment): (default: 15°), maximum 359.99° (< 360°)
